Hi! I’m Gina, and this is (officially) Mom Talk.

However you found your way here, I am so glad you did. Pull up a chair, grab your coffee (or your iced coffee, no judgment here, actually strong judgment in favor). 

I am a perinatal therapist, twin mom, and the founder of The Mindful Mama Therapy, a therapy private practice aimed at supporting you through the rollercoaster that is motherhood. I started this blog because I genuinely believe one of the most powerful things we can offer each other as moms is honesty and community. 

Not the highlight reel you see on social media, not the “oh, I bounced back in 6 weeks” story (because we all know that’s not true, okay?). The REAL one. 

Mom Talk is where we skip the performance and get right into the real stuff.

You can expect posts about the messy, beautiful, overwhelming, and sometimes absolutely hilarious realities of motherhood, written by me, a therapist who’s lived it and is still living it. We’ll talk about postpartum anxiety, the pressure to have it all together, helpful resources, products I actually love, and more conversations that moms don’t seem to be having out loud. 

Sometimes I’ll have my therapist hat on. Sometimes I’ll just be a mom who has been there. Some posts will make you feel seen, some will make you feel less alone. Some may even make you laugh and cry at the same time, which is genuinely on-brand for motherhood. 

Whether you’re currently pregnant, freshly postpartum, in the depths of toddlerhood (if you are, blink twice if you need help), or just a mom who needed 5 minutes of content that wasn’t making you feel shitty; you’re in the right place.
